What is my Cat D Toyota Yaris Verso worth?

I have a Yaris Verso GS 2001 model in beige. When I bought it in February this year it had only done 9980 miles. It was a Category D but was repaired, and I checked the MOT history to verify the mileage and also did a HPI check. The only issue is that I did not get the service history. The car is is a 1.3 VVT-I automatic. I have a few questions:

1. I paid £2850. Do you think it is worth that now? (current mileage 13,500). The car is in very good condition.

2. The car only averages 220 miles to the full tank. I have been told that this engine can do about 400 miles to the tank on a combined cycle. Am I ill-advised, or what can be the reason for such low mileage on a car which has such a small engine?

1. No. Not for an former Cat D. I don't value low mileage.

2. This engine and transmission should do 40mpg+ because I have with it in a Verso, and our 1.5 with the same four-speed automatic transmission in Thailand can do 45mpg+. Of course, it all depends on how you use it. Short runs burn massive amounts of fuel.
