How much should I expect to pay for a BMW 1 Series at auction?

I am currently on the look out to buy a secondhand car. I am looking to buy a BMW 1 Series 118d, up to 40,000 mileage and up to three years old. I had a look at the BCA site and see they often go for auction. I've never bought a car from auction and was wondering how much do you reckon one sells for?

They sell for around Glass's Guide trade price. For example, a 40,000-mile 07 118d SE 143PS, about £10,300.
