Is the Skoda Fabia vRS's DSG gearbox any good?

Good to see you liked the new Skoda Fabia vRS 1.4TSI in your recent review - will you be doing a full road test/video? I'm seriously interested in ordering the slightly quirky Estate/Combi version. There's nothing else quite like it in the marketplace, unless you know different?

A few years ago I had loads of trouble with an Audi A4 2.5TDI with the multitronic CVT box - just wondered what your thoughts were with the DSG box on the Fabia. Is it man enough for the 178bhp twin charger engine and all that torque?

That was written by David Ross, not me. No, not planning a video test. Yes, there have been problems with DSGs. Ford/Getrag's Powershift is much better. Much less obstructive and doesn't leave you stranded half way across a junction.
