I got caught doing 82mpg on the M6. Will I keep my licence?

I was caught for speeding in March this year for driving at 82mph on the M6 at 2350 in Penrith. I pleaded guilty straight away and admitted driving. I hadn't heard anything else for six months so I counted my blessings and have been a good boy since. I received a court summons about two weeks ago. What do you think my chances are of keeping my licence? There was no dangerous driving involved, just excessive speeding.

You won't get more than six points for 82 in a 70 and probably only four. It's a daft waste of court time hauling you in for such a minor offence but, of course a court fine is much bigger so this might be a way of making money out of you.
