Should I be suspicious of my 35 minute MoT?

I took my 2005 BMW to a reputable garage for a MoT and was surprised that the overall time to pass the test (one advisory - split rear tyre) was about 35 minutes. Should I be suspicious of this or should I just thank my lucky stars my old motor passed it's annual MoT so easily?

The average time for an MoT is supposed to be 45 minutes to an hour, but with garage labour rates now around £100 an hour + VAT, and the maximum price for an MoT set at £54.85, half an hour is normal.
