What small estates have a proper torque converter automatic gearbox?

I have run Ford Focus 1.6 petrol auto estates for many years and have found them to be durable with few problems. The time has come to change again, but I now understand that the auto gearbox available is not a true torque converter but a manual with an actuated change, dubbed "powershift". Having read about the many problems these types of boxes experience, I am loathe to buy and wondered what other options are out there for small estates with a proper torque converter auto box. Does the new Vauxhall Astra estate have one?

Powershift is not a manual. It's a dual clutch, dual shaft automatic a bit like the old 'preselector' autos of the early 1950s. But you don't need to worry because Ford now fits its Focus 1.0 125 EcoBoost and 1.5 150 EcoBoost with 6-speed torque converter automatic transmissions.
