My Mercedes-Benz GLC has a steering problem - what do I do?

My Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe 220d is crabbing in reverse. I read with interest that I am not alone and that this is a common problem with this model. Mercedes have tried it on with me saying I should pay for winter tyres as recommended in the handbook which incidentally is only online. I believe the dealer has a duty of care to advise me of this but he didn't and now tells me it's between myself and MBUK. What can I do?

He's got that wrong. He sold you the car. You paid him. He's the "supplier". So it's between you and him. Law here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
