Is there a new Kia Rio on the way?

Just wondered if you knew when the current Kia Rio model will replaced and do you think the new model with have the 1.0-litre turbo engine? Have run a Picanto for over a year and 25,000 miles with no issues but need a bit more space and wish to have a turbo engine.

The current Rio was launched in July 2011, so on a normal model cycle would be due for replacement in 2017 or 2018. Sometimes South Korean manufacturers curt this a bit shorter. No reason why the current car should not get the new 1.0TGDI as soon as they can ramp up production sufficiently. The equivalent Hyundai i20 already has it.
