Is the 2005 Audi A4's Multitronic gearbox reliable?

I am considering purchasing a 2005 (B7?) Audi A4 3.2 FSI with only 21,000 miles, but I have concerns about the Multitronic gearbox. The 3.2 appears to be a comparative rarity, so I am not sure if the problems I have read about are limited to earlier models or are specific to the more common diesel engines. Any advice would be welcome, as the car appears a bargain at less than £9000 and I am very tempted.

A dream to drive, but a nightmare when the Multitronic goes wrong. Needs a fluid change every two years and needs to be the version with a 7-plate clutch, not a 6-plate clutch.
