Why does my Jeep Cherokee cut out under acceleration?

I have a 2002 2.5 diesel Jeep Cherokee which has an intermittent fault under acceleration. It will sometimes cut out and you have to stop, turn the key off, then restart it. I've had injectors checked and found one to be faulty, so I had it reconditioned but it's still doing the same. Can anyone help?

Trying to find an intermittent fault is very difficult. I would suggest that you do some basic checks, ie air filters and fuel filters. Is it fitted with a air flow meter? If so, is it working correctly. Can you smell diesel around the engine at all? Make sure the air vent on the fuel cap is working correctly.
