Noise vibration through gear lever - what is it?

I have a 2014 Mazda6 Tourer with the 165PS petrol engine and a 6-Speed Manual gearbox, which I bought new from the local Mazda dealer. There is a problem with excessive vibration and noise coming from/through the gear-lever while driving, this was mainly in 4th gear and was very pronounced but was also occurring in 3rd and 6th but to a lesser extent.

The car has been back to dealer several times now, and they have now changed the gearbox, which did improved things greatly, but there is still residual noise/vibration in 3rd gear at about 2500rpm – only noticeable when for example going uphill or coming off a roundabout.

Misalignment between engine and gearbox or an oil filled mount for the engine or gearbox has lost its oil. Alternatively, it might be engine-related if you are trying to run this ultra high compression engine on ordinary 95Ron petrol. Try it on Shell V-Power Nitro Plus. and the engine will run better, with more torque at low revs.
