Parking at Wickes

I parked at Wickes Colchester for about 20 minutes when making a purchase. I left but returned later and made a separate purchase. I received a parking charge notice saying i had overstayed by 30 minutes. There are photos showing my 1st entry and 2nd exit. The first exit and second entry are missed. There is nothing to say I cannot return to the car park within any time. I showed my separate timed receipts to wickes who have emailed the parking operator to cancel the notice.

It was interesting to note that the "notice" was issued a week after the alleged offence but received a week after that.

So Wickes got you off. That's good. Ridiculous system that prevents people coming back to a building supplies store the same day. A building supplies store is the very sort of place you might have to come back to 3 times in a day because you forget something, or needed another part or tool to complete a job.
