Best way to clean a car?

I want to know some good cleaning products - the whole works inside and out. Could you recommend a kit to use with all the various types as I'm so confused by all the jargon. Even within shampoos theres different types. Please suggest products to use from start to finish of washing the exterior and where best to buy this.

The best cleaning product known to man is rain. Always best to wash your car in the rain because it loosens the surface dirt, then, when you're finished, automatically rinses the car without leaving any streaks. I use Autoglym car shampoo for the soapy bit (from Halfords). But my way it's a 10-15 minute job, not a 45 minute job involving chamois leathers, etc.
