What should I replace my Honda CR-V with?

I have a Honda CR-V which has done 100,000 miles and is six years old. The seats are starting to wear and it has just failed its MoT due to the handbrake cable needing replacing. I think it could be about to cost me a lot of money.

I'm looking to replace it with a cost effective SUV. I need a big boot, comfort in the back and better fuel economy. I'm not sure where to start looking. I drive 8000 miles a year, with 20 mile town drives and the occasional motorway run. What would you recommend I look at?

For your type of driving probably a Qashqai Acenta 1.2DIG-T, not a diesel: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/nissan/nissan-qash.../ webuyanycar.com will take the CR-V off your hands with minimal hassle, but maybe also minimal price. You don't say if it's petrol or diesel. if you intend advertising on autotrader.co.uk you will; need to specify this.
