I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was built in 2008 and not 2010 - does it need any special attention?
I have just taken delivery of a new Jeep Grand Cherokee Tech. The dealer had no stock and had to order it from Chrysler UK. As the model was only launched in March this year I assumed that the build date would not be a problem, but I subsequently found that the vehicle was built in September 2008. I know that I have no redress against the dealer but would appreciate advice on anything that I may need to be aware of, or which may require attention, in view of the time that the vehicle has been stored.

Look for rust and condensation damage, pitting on the brake discs, the battery not holding charge and electrical gremlins.
