Why won't our SEAT Ibiza start?

My daughter's Seat Ibiza has continual problems starting after standing unused for only 2-3 days. We've been told repeatedly that the battery's fine and the current drain with ignition off is within acceptable limits. We've also been told that the engine is charging the battery OK.

I've read on line that updating the car's software has solved this issue for others, yet my main dealer hasn't heard of this. Have you any knowledge or experience of this potential solution, or can you advise what we do next, please?

Might be the interior light switch. Often they remain live after the light has gone out and drain the battery overnight. Try switching the light off completely at the light itself - so it does not go on when you open a door.
