Need a reliable second hand seven-seater - what do you recommend?

Can you recommend a practical and economical second hand seven-seater? I have £8000 to spend and want to buy a manual car with a petrol engine. I have a 2005 Ford C-Max (59,000 miles/lPG converted) to trade in.

With the p/x you've probably got enough for a 2011/11 Grand C-Max 1.6i 125PS: www.honestjohn.co.uk/used-prices/Ford/C-MAX/2011/?...g

A Mazda 5 is likely to be over budget: www.honestjohn.co.uk/used-prices/Mazda/5/2012/

Or you could go for an older S-Max, though it's quite hard to find a 2.0i petrol model. Not so keen on Touran and Zafira, but there are plenty of Zafira 1.6s about and they were selling for £10,000 brand new at the end of their production run.
