Will a solar charger replenish my car batter?

Because I do short journeys and low milage, my battery often needs charging. Would a solar charger help to keep the battery charged sand if so could you reccomend one.

Better a battery conditioning float charger. A solar charger can only work via the accessory socket if that is hardwired directly to the battery.
