How much does a Jaguar X-Type cost to run annually?

I intend to buy a Jaguar X-Type with 70,000 miles from 2002 with an automatic gearbox and 2.5-litre V6 engine. How much does it cost per year to pay all taxes on this car (taxes like insurance, mot, road tax etc)? The matter of cost interests me the most because I am a student and don't have huge sums of money, but I love the X-Type. I have had insurance quotes but I think I am doing something wrong, because the insurance is from £7000-£12,000 when a normal car is insured for £300-400.

Insurance depends on how old you are as well as your student status. You probably don't represent a very good risk. Tax for 239g/km CO2 is £425 a year.
