Can I take a car to another dealer for warranty work?

If you buy a car from one dealership can you take it to another to have any warranty work done?

In theory, yes. In practice, far better to take it back to the dealer you bought it from. If there's a dispute over the effectiveness of the warranty work you then have clear redress against just one dealer. if it had been fixed by another dealer badly, you land yourself in confusion.
