Should I run a Jaguar XK Portfolio V8 on 19- or 20-inch wheels?

I am a regular, indeed avid reader of your column and aware that you have views about the wheel size on cars. I am contemplating buying a fairly recent Jaguar XK Portfolio with the V8 5-litre engine. I see that they seem to come on 19 and 20-inch wheels. Which do you consider optimal and does it really make a significant difference?

19s are best. They're not catastrophically terrible on 20s, but you will feel raised grids and manhole covers more and the tyres are slightly more likely to suffer damage. Is this a coupe or a roadster? The roadster is by far the better buy.
