Who can repair an ABS fault on my Volkswagen Touran cheaply?

I have a 2007 Volkswagen Touran and it has done about 75,000 miles. Last Monday when I started my car in the morning the ESP sign came up on the dash and it is there permanently. I went to independent garage for diagnosis and they found there is a problem in ABS. Could you please give me some advice how to get help from Volkswagen to fix this problem?

This is probably the standard VAG ATE Teves Mk 60 ABS/ESP brake pressure sensor fault. Three years ago VAG were charging £1800 to replace the entire ABS/ESP module. I found people who can do a fix for as little as £250, plus the cost of removing and re-fitting the module. These people are: www.ecutesting.com and www.sinspeed.co.uk.

VAG dealers will now do a similar modification for £400 - £500 all-in. They might even do it free because there has been a lot of pressure on VAG for not fixing and trying to make money out of a safety related fault.
