Buying a SEAT Leon for £3500 - is this a good deal?

I have recently been offered a 2005 SEAT Leon FR 1.8T 20V with just over 60,000 miles on the clock. It is a private sale and the car seems to have been well looked after during it’s time with the current owner; it has a full service history and has had just two owners from new, the owner before the current owner being a SEAT dealership.

Before we buy the car, the seller is getting the car serviced, along with a cam belt change. They are asking for around £3500 for the car, does this sound like a good deal?

It's quite dear. But these were great cars. I had one. Faster and handled better than a Golf GTI. Would do 34mpg. Needs a new waterpump at the same time as that cambelt change. Comprehensive car by car entry here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/seat/leon-1999/
