What's causing my Passatt CC to go into limp home mode?

I own a 2009 Volkswagen Passatt CC GT. The yellow coil warning light keeps coming on and the car goes in to limp home mode. I’ve replaced the turbo valves and actuator, but still the problem persists. Can you help?

Given that the engine is going into "limp mode" we would suggest that in the first instance you have a diagnostic check carried out.(cost around £50 -£60).

This then should identify by fault code (ie (P ---- 4 numbers) what the problem might be. Most likely one of the many sensors that are fitted to the car.
I.E. ECT( engine coolant temp) MAF ( mass air flow)CKP( crankshaft position) TP( throttle position) etc.

Would not go changing any items unless you are absolutely sure that they are faulty.
