Has the Skoda Yeti been upgraded due to ESP faults in early models?

Having read your articles on the problems with these components and as I am considering the purchase of a new Skoda Yeti, I would like to know if these unreliable parts have been upgraded? I asked the local dealer who denied any knowledge of these problems or indeed that this system was even fitted to the Yeti.

Well they would say that, wouldn't they? It's claimed that the problem only affects a small percentage of cars, but I've been directly informed of about 100 cases. I have not heard of it in any cars built in 2008 or later.
