Car supermarket sold me a S-Max with hidden accident history - what can I do?

A few months ago I bought a 2011 Ford S-Max from a well-known car supermarket. After less than a month of ownership the car started rusting. I took it to my local Ford dealer to find out if it was covered under warranty and was told the rusting was due to repairs from a major accident.

I contacted the car supermarket and was told the car was sold as seen and they wouldn't do anything as they were unaware it had been involved in a crash. What can I do?

The car supermarket is very well aware of its obligations. See here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/

You have rights under Clegg v Olle Andersson 2003 and The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.
