Registering a LHD car for use in the UK - do I need to replace the headlights?
I’m thinking of buying a left hand drive car and registering it for use in the UK. Can you tell me if it would pass the 'headlight alignment' part of the MoT test with the type of stick-on beam deflectors you can buy in motoring shops? Or would the car need to have replacement RHD headlamp units fitted?

No, it would not. You would either need to buy a car with dip down headlights or adjustable dip headlights, or buy a separate pair of headlights for use in the UK. This partial list may help: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/switchable-dip/
