Buying a new car via Autoebid - is this wise?

I have placed an order for an Audi A3 1.8 Quattro with Autoebid, was this a sensible decision?

This car is replacing a three year old Jaguar XF 3.0D Luxury, which we are thinking of selling to Webuyanycar.com for £16,500. Is this a fair price?

Autoebid merely puts your wish list out to tender and the dealer who comes in with the lowest price gets the order. Should not be any problem.

A 10 reg XF 3.0D 240 Luxury with 39,000 miles trade books at £15,300. A 275 at £16,700.
