Can I reject my car because of undisclosed repairs?

Two weeks ago I purchased a 4.5 year old Audi A4 quattro from an independent dealer. I have now discovered the front off-side wing has been replaced, drivers door been removed, bonnet re-positioned, bonnet, rear wing and roof resprayed - some re spraying good, some bad.

This was not known about at the time of purchase. An Audi garage has checked tracking & there seems to potentially be a problem with this and possibly the front sub-frame position.

Am I within my rights to reject the car even if there is no major mechanical/safety problem?

Yes, in theory you are. The dealer had a duty to disclose that repairs had been done. But if the dealer fights and you paid more than £10k for the car legal fees and court costs could add up to £15k +. Law here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
