What first car do you recommend for £10,000?

I'm 17 and looking to buy a first car. My budget is £10,000 and I need it to be cheap on insurance. What do you recommend?

Toyota Auris (2007 - 2013)

Decent combination of ride and handling that might suit some people better than a harder sprung Golf or a Civic. A few inches taller than a Golf of Focus so easier to get in and out.

Dacia Sandero (2013 - 2021)

Unbelievably cheap for this size of car, generous interior space and a big boot, reasonably comfortable to drive.
