Can you recommend a car with a very large boot to replace my Peugeot 406 estate?

I have a business where I need to transport grandfather clocks which may be over seven feet in length. I currently use a Peugeot 406 estate which takes almost anything, but want to change to a newer vehicle. The 407 has nowhere near the same capacity so I'd welcome any ideas for a replacement where you have a good, flat(ish) load area through to the front. I don't mind a 4x4 and I've looked at the Dodge Nitro and also the Nissan Pathfinder, but these are out of my current price range. I could go to around £6000 presently.

One of the biggest boots of any estate we know is the Vauxhall Vectra estate. For £6000 you could get a 2004 (54-plate) 1.9 CDTi 150bhp Vectra Estate and we've seen one in the classifieds with a reasonable 60,000 miles which is average for a 2004 car.

Far better than previous Vectra. Now with decent handling and an excellent ride. Plenty of safety kit. Roomy in the front. Big boot. Good looks.
