Does my 2001 Peugeot 306 have a catalytic converter?

I was just wondering if my 2001 Peugeot 306 1.6-litre has a catalytic converter? It seems a shallow question but I'm only asking as I am looking to retune my engine and fit a turbo. However as you'll probably already know I can't do this if a converter is fitted.

Probably not. They were not compulsory until 1992, and there were exemptions even after that. If it has a carburettor it definitely wont have a cat.
