Was this car previously damaged?

Looking to buy a Suzuki Swift, but on a vehicle check app (my car check) it says "this vehicle may be recorded as a write off, however it has undergone a plate transfer" and "recorded as having passed a VIC on Feb 13". What does this mean? is the car OK? How can I find out more. I don't want to be ripped off. The car looks great and drives well.

Means the car has been a Cat C insurance damage write off and has been repaired and has passed a VOSA VIC inspection that declared it roadworthy. Also means it may have had a personal registration at some time.
