Has towning my Galaxy caused damage?

My automatic Ford Galaxy was towed off the ground. I was told it was the alternator. Not so - the car starts but gears are not engaging properly. Is it as a result of towing?

If it was towed with the front wheels off the ground then that cannot have done any harm to the transmission. It is, of course, an old automatic transmission. Try to get it to a member of www.fedauto.co.uk
