Why doesn't Europe Assistance Cover cover coolant leaks?

Please warn motorists that Europe Assistance Cover does not cover coolant and fluid problems. I broke down in France and had full Europe Assistance Cover. Having limped car to a garage, a coolant leak was diagnosed and the insurance refused to pay even a contribution. True enough it is in the small print, but most drivers will not realise until it is too late.

That's extraordinary, because water pump failures and cooling system problems are the main reason why cars fail on the long drive south. It's happened to me.
