Can you tell me why my 2009 Volvo C30 has been recalled for a PowerShift gearbox change?

My 2009 Volvo C30 has just been recalled by my Volvo main dealer for a PowerShift gearbox change. Unfortunately, I could not get a clear explanation from them for the reason for the exchange and found nothing on various websites referencing any problems. Have you heard of the reasons for the recall?

Hello. These are the details according to VOSA, the body which is in charge of recalls in the UK. It sheds some light on the recall:

Volvo C30 Numbers Involved: 42; Vehicle Id:137302 to 141362; Reference: R/2009/155; Concern: GEARBOX MAY NOT ENGAGE OR SHIFT GEARS AS INTENDED. It has been identified that due to internal leakage the gearbox hydraulic control module may not be able to engage or shift gears as intended. Remedial Action: Recalled vehicles will have the gearbox replaced.
