Climate control failure on my Ford Galaxy?

I have a flashing climate control display on start up on my 56 reg Ford Galaxy Ghia and the air con seems to have failed although the blowers still work. I am in France and my French is not good enough to enter a technical discussion with a garage mechanic. Is there some way I can find out what this code is indicating?

If the a/c isn't working, then that's fairly easy to explain. Might be the pump clutch, might be the pump, but it's most likely to be a holed condenser radiator that is vulnerable to stones.
