Intermittent noise from the water pump on a Qashqai?
My Nissan Qashqai 1.5 suffers an intermittent noise from the water pump. Being intermittent the garage has failed to find a fault. I am anxious as I am aware of the damage this fault could cause to the cam belt if the pump were to fail. The car was purchased second hand with a newly issued Nissan Cared 4 warranty.

In that case, to be sure, renew the water pump, timing belt, timing belt tensioner and all small pulleys. There is no half measure.
