Selling a used car with a new engine?

I wondered if you could give me some advice please regarding selling my Land Rover Discovery 3 (HSE, Auto, 7 Seat, 87k Miles, 07 plate, 1 Owner, VG Condition, FSH)?

It suffered 'catastrophic engine failure' during the summer when the oil pump casing became detached from the engine. After much ado (over 9 weeks), Land Rover agreed to pay for and fit a new engine and whilst we're happy to have our vehicle back, we've 'fallen out of love' with her and are looking for something smaller, more reliable, economical and cheaper to run.

My concern is that whether I try and sell it privately, at an auction or to a garage, all buyers will be using price guides which are unlikely to reflect the fact that she has a new engine.

Could you advise please whether you think that she should fetch a higher price (than a comparable vehicle) because of her 'new heart' and if so, what sort of premium do you think I should I be looking to add to any guide price?

Yes, worth at least £2,000 more for having a new engine at this age and mileage.
