How should I sell my Corsa?

I want to sell my 2007 56 plate 3dr Vauxhall 1.4 Corsa Club a/c, but I am in a quandary as to which selling route to go down.

The problem is that there is now so much advice out there that is easy to get completely bogged down in it all; so I have come here for the definitive answer!

I do not want p/ex as I have bought a new car through Drive the Deal - after seeing your recommendation on this site. I have to say it is an excellent all-round buying experience.

The Corsa has a full service history, 0 previous owners, 31500 on the clock and is in good condition. It also has an Irmscher part-bodykit: rear spoiler, front spoiler and grille.

Should I spend two or three hundred pounds on a bit of a touch-up (small dent on door, stone chips) and a service/MOT? Or sell it "warts and all"? Also, is the bodykit a problem?

Either way, which selling route would you recommend - auction? private? other?

Yes, the bodykit is a problem because it increases the insurance. I'd use www.sure-sell.info Usually very efficient and keeps undesirables off your doorstep and out of your car.
