I want to repair my write-off
I was in an accident and the insurer told me that car is total loss and wants me to scrap it. Nothing was mentioned as to what exactly was damaged. How could I get information about their assessment and stop my car being sent for scrap? I'd rather repair it.

Get in touch with the insurer and ask them not to write it off and ask them how much they will give you towards the repairs if you keep it and have it repaired yourself.
