Saved by the bill?

I have a two-year-old Mercedes A Class due for its B Service. If I go to an Independent Mercedes Garage will it invalidate my Warranty and Mobilo Life? If it is considered OK under EU law, which is what the Independents quote on their websites, will it reduce my Part Ex Valuation next year if I change it for the new A Class?

Depends. For the warranty to remain intact you will need a detailed invoice proving that the correct components lubricants and processes were used. Yes, it will reduced the p/x value, especially to an MB dealer. You will also lose any post warranty 'goodwill' from MB.
