Is it dangerous to have van tyres on my 4x4?

I jotted down my Honda CRV tyre size (205/65/R16C) to get a quote for winter tyres and noticed that they are commercial (van) tyres. Kwik-Fit have quoted me for winter tyres which are also commercials and assure me that these are the best for the CR-V. Can you reassure me that this is safe and sensible?

This must be the old shape CR-V, but it would be logical to fit strengthened sidewall tyres to a 4WD SUV expected to be driven off road.
