Tyres in Europe

I am driving to Italy and returning via Austria and Germany in November.

Can I use my UK tyres - Pirelli P7 (I carry snow chains) or do I have to have winter M&S (mud and slush) rated tyres after October 15?

In Austria you have to have Winter Tyres.
