Are Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 auto and the Ford Fiesta 1.4 auto 'proper' automatics?

I am looking for a small automatic and am interested in the Vauxhall Corsa and Ford Fiesta, but want a 'proper' automatic box, not one of those that is a clutchless manual ( I have one on another car - the Toyota Verso and don't like it!). Can you advise if the above cars have proper auto boxes in the 1.4 models and also which is better for reliability etc.

The Ford Fiesta 1.4 has a 4-speed torque converter auto, but also check out the Mazda 2 1.5 Activematic with is also a 4-speed torque converter but cheaper and more fun to drive.
