Longer life tyres

The front tyres on my E-Class Coupe are Dunlop SP Sport 235/40 OR 18 91Y and have done 16,687 miles.

They still have quite a lot of mileage left in them, but I am currently on the second set of rear tyres and they are near the end of their life. They are Pirelli PZERO 255/35ZR 18 94Y and have done just over 6,000 miles of fairly careful reasonable speed driving.

Can you suggest a tyre which may give more mileage? They are not cheap to replace?

Try the equivalent size Dunlop SP Sport.

The rears do wear badly because of the ridiculously low profile.

The only benefit of tyres like this is to the tyre company that gets to sell you a lot of expensive tyres.
