How much will it cost to replace a failed Kuga heated windscreen?

I’m about to sell my 2016 Kuga 2.0l Titanium sport 4wd and the heated front windscreen has packed up! What would be the cost of a replacement screen to a car dealer please?

In terms of the cost to a dealer, it is likely they will be able to get this replaced more cheaply than an individual as they will typically have an established relationship with a garage for repair work. The cost could be anything from a few hundred pounds upwards depending on the nature of the failure.

If you are selling the vehicle to a dealer and they are offering you a lesser figure due to this failure, you may wish to investigate the failure yourself as it may be the connections to the screen have failed rather than the whole screen which could be a cheaper repair. We would suggest trying an independent Ford specialist or vehicle windscreen specialist - you can find one on the Honest John Good Garage Guide here: good-garage-guide.honestjohn.co.uk/
