Is my Kia 7 year warranty valid?

I have just purchased a 2020 Kia Stonic advertised with remainder of 7 year warranty. On checking the service record it has not maintained the Kia service requirement of 10,000 miles or 12 months. There has been a service interval of 13,400 miles. Dealer is speaking to its warranty team. What should I do?

If the vehicle was advertised as coming with a seven year warranty, but the dealer confirms that this will not apply to the vehicle you have purchased because of the service history, then you have the right to reject the vehicle based on the fact that it was not as described.
