Can I use a power pack to charge my car battery without plugging it in?

I have a petrol car but do little mileage so need to charge the battery up, especially in winter.

I have an outside socket but will be moving to a retirement village with car parking a long way from apartment. I thought about a big power pack on a trolley but that would probably disappear if outside the car. I can't keep taking the battery off so any ideas?

If you are unable to plug in a trickle charger there are some available that use a solar panel to generate electricity. Of course, sunlight is more limited in winter months, but this may be enough to keep the battery in good health.
