Should I be concerned about a car that has sat unsold on a forecourt for five months?

I've seen a nice Lexus at Hilton Garage near Derby. It's been for sale with them for 5 months... but it's reasonably priced! Should I be concerned?

Assuming there is nothing inherently wrong with the vehicle, it may not have sold for a number of reasons, including being an undesirable specification or simply that this particular model is not popular with buyers at present. More important is that it is the right car for you and your needs, and as long as you are happy with its condition, price and service history there is no reason to be more wary than when making any used car purchase.
